What does a precision mechanic learn Mechanical engineering

The apprentice learns to manufacture and assemble interesting mechanical parts.

He reads technical drawings, operates production machines and checks whether everything fits exactly.

He uses CNC machines to produce parts with the highest precision at super-fast speeds. He also learns how to machine workpieces and assemble components so that he can later install and maintain everything.

As a precision mechanic, you are the type of person who builds sophisticated machines and systems and brings them to perfection. Cool, right?

Training at GEWA

With us, you will learn a good combination of manual work and high-tech. We manufacture our machines and systems in our own factory. You have the opportunity to learn all processes in mechanical engineering during your apprenticeship.

From reading and creating a drawing to sawing, drilling, turning, milling and much more. – From manual tasks to the operation of CNC-controlled machines, everything is included.

As soon as it becomes clear where your strengths lie, we will decide together in which direction you will specialize.
