Our journey

Foundation

GEWA Fertigungstechnik GmbH was founded on August 22, 1986 by Peter and Gerd Waidelich. Only a few months later, on 11. November 1986, the construction of the company's first own workshop began - a significant step for the young company.

Operations began there in February 1987. Since then, the company has continued to develop.

Development and growth

In 1999, the first expansion was realized to create more space for production, construction and administration. In 2006, an additional warehouse and assembly hall was built, where today the machines and systems we produce are assembled and tested.

GEWA currently employs 35 qualified employees who work in various areas. After the sudden death of company co-founder and Managing Director
Gerd Waidelich in October 2022, the next generation - Vanessa and Pascal Waidelich - took over responsibility for the future of the company together with their father Peter Waidelich.

Range of services

We have been designing, producing and assembling machines and systems for regional, national and international customers for over 30 years.

Our range of services includes spare parts production, machine repairs and the mechanical processing of individual and series parts. Among other things, our focus is on responding quickly and flexibly to emergencies such as machine downtimes and urgent spare parts requirements.

Corporate culture and presence

We value our many years of experience, our creative solutions in mechanical engineering and our committed employees, who realize challenging projects from the initial idea through to implementation.
